After reading Dr. Robert Heidler’s book, “The Messianic Church Arising”, Janis and I have invited our ASPIRE MINISTRIES TEAM and friends, to gather together to honor the times God has set aside for celebrating Jesus in a very special way this New Year, 2009.

Chuck Pierce says in the foreword of the book that “God is shaking the Church into a level of reality.   We must understand and remain faithful to the purposes of a sovereign God whose first fruit land and people is still in the forefront of His Heart.  We are called to reach the entire world and co-labor with the Lord for the fullness of the Gentiles. And our demonstration of Kingdom Life should also accelerate what the Lord is doing with His Covenant people, the Jews.

We must repent of the American mindset of tolerating personal peace and affluence, with Jesus being presented as the means to make up ‘comfortable.’

We must repent for our failure to perceive and pursue the fullness of the Church.

We must repent for abandoning Jewish responsibilities.  Israel and the Jews are of utmost central importance to our Christian heritage.   The early Church related closely to its Jewish roots and even blessed the Jewish community in Israel.  (Romans 15:25-27) We need deeds of love and kindness, intercession and giving to promote Israel’s salvation.

Repentance changes our mind so we have the mind of Christ.  We must change our thinking processes to demonstrate the next dimension of grace that God wants demonstrated on earth.  God’s original plan was to rightly relate Jews and Gentiles in the Body of Messiah.

“He Himself is our peace, who made both groups (Jews and Gentiles) into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall...that in Himself, He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one new body.”  Ephesians 2:14-16

When we see the Messianic Church arising and coming into proper Apostolic/Prophetic/ Intercessory alignment, we will see a sweeping move of God across the earth.  This should be one of our KEY PRAYER POINTS as we pray for GOD’S COVENANT PEOPLE.”

From Dr. Heidler’s book, we learned much about the Feast of Passover which is the first of God's Festivals. It begins God's yearly cycle. It is designed to set us on a course that will draw us closer to God and into a fresh experience of His glory each year. In the early church, Passover was considered the most important celebration of the year.

Passover is the celebration of God's Love and Power in delivering His people out of the hand of their enemy.

Passover is not  just a religious ritual or a holiday. It is a time set by God for specific SPIRITUAL TRANSACTIONS to take place. It is a time...

To Praise God for His work of deliverance in the past.
To Seek Him for a fresh release of deliverance today.
To Gain Faith for His work in the future.
Why is Passover important to us today?
It is important for us because we are spiritually united with Israel. Romans 11:17
Passover is important because it is part of God's plan of salvation for you.
Passover is important because God designed Passover as a Celebration of Jesus.
I Corinthians 5:7

Preparing For Passover

Protecting Your Home From Spiritual Darkness

1. Dedicate your home to the Lord.
2. Take a Spiritual Inventory of your home.
    Ask Holy Spirit to show you any objects that should not be in your home.
3. Cleanse your home of ungodly objects.
    Deuteronomy 7:25 says objects should be destroyed by fire.
4. Ask forgiveness.
5. Cleanse each room and cleanse the land.
6. Consecrate your home and property to God and His service.
7. Fill your home with glory. Speak blessings over your house and invite the Presence of      God to fill it!

The Celebration of Passover

A typical Jewish Passover meal today consists of several elements, each designed to recreate the sights, sounds, emotions and even the tastes of the original Passover night. Elements on the table at a traditional Passover meal usually include:

Chazeret - A bitter vegetable (as a reminder of the bitterness of slavery.)
The Shankbone of a lamb, used to represent "The Lamb that was sacrificed."
      ~ Note: Chicken may be substituted~
Karpas, or parsley, usually dipped in salt water and eaten to recall the 'salty taste of tears' shed by the Israelite slaves.
Haroset, a mixture of apples and cinnamon, picturing the 'mortar or clay' used by the Israelites in their time of slavery.
Maror or bitter herbs, usually horseradish. The bitter taste brings tears to the eyes and is, again, a reminder of the "bitterness of slavery."
A roasted egg, included as a symbol of mourning.

Celebrating Passover Together

As we JOIN TOGETHER IN THIS PASSOVER CELEBRATION, we will THANK GOD that we are REDEEMED OUT OF EVERY OLD CYCLE, THAT BONDAGE IS BROKEN AND THAT WE ARE SET FREE, BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB TO ENTER THE PROMISE!

REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB! A PASSOVER SEDER.

INTRODUCTION ~ THE SEDER

The Seder has been followed by the Jews for thousands of years.

It is likely that Jesus and His Apostles followed an order very similar to this when they met in the Upper Room to celebrate their Passover meal.

All of us will have copies of the Passover Seder for us to read together as we CELEBRATE JESUS!

The celebration will include the following:

LIGHTING THE PASSOVER CANDLES.

UNLEAVENED BREAD IS BROKEN.

THE CUP OF REDEMPTION.

PREPARE TO CELEBRATE THE LORD'S SUPPER AS NEVER BEFORE!

THE HALLEL

THE PASSOVER SACRIFICE

SHARING PASSOVER MEAL

EVERYTHING SHALL BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!

PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH US

Dear Father God,

Restore Your Bride, the Church to our covenant roots.  Let us return to our roots and receive Your blessing. Let us enter into a life of increase through Biblical feasts.  Let us rise up in Your Power and Glory.  Let us have access to the lost riches of covenant blessings.  Let us recover Your plan O LORD, for rest and refreshing in you.  Graft us LORD into Your LIFE GIVING PLAN.  We are Your off spring.  We are rooted and grounded in Your Word.  Your Light. Your Love.  We receive the power of light, life and love, the roots that spring forth from You O LORD.  Let us regain the blessings of our lost inheritance in You.  Let us go forth pouring out into a world thirsty for change! 

Father we will not be sidetracked into legalism.  We will not live under the old covenant.  We will restore the joy of our life as we seek Your holy Presence.  Thank You for Your goodness and mercy.  We rest in You so You may rest upon us.   Thank You for these Feasts, Your yearly cycles, as these are key steps that draw us even closer into Your Holy Presence. As we draw closer to You, You have promised to draw closer to us.  You are Holy, Holy, Holy.

Father, we know that the key to our rich inheritance in You is living in Your new covenant.  WE know that You are calling us to become men and women of covenant faith...as we walk in covenant with You and one another.

Father God we proclaim Your Word right now, out loud!

Father God we know that we are not mere human.
  I Corinthians 3:3

We are indwelt by Your Holy Spirit.
  Romans 8:9

We are partakers of Your Nature.
II Peter 1:4

We know Your Holy Spirit supernatural power of Resurrection is in us.
Romans 8:11

We know that each of us have a unique purpose and destiny in You.
Jeremiah 29:11

We know that You have given us supernatural abilities, gifts of Your Spirit,
and Your Kingdom power and authority to live as a supernatural being.
I Corinthians 12

We want to give You all honor, power and glory.
We want to walk in holiness.
We want to treat as special what You have called holy.
Including ourselves.
We pray for You to fill us with Your fruits of the Spirit,
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

As we honor You Father God and all that You have declared holy,
we want to receive supernatural gifts,  favor, anointing and blessings
that You have reserved for us, Your holy people.

We will honor You Father God.
We will honor You with our first fruits.
With our time, talent and gifts.

We will honor one another.
We will show honor by not judging, criticizing or gossiping.
We will honor our parents.
They were Your chosen instruments to bring us into the world.
We will honor our spouses as our covenant partner.
We will honor our children and grandchildren, family and friends.
We will show honor and respect to those You have
established as our spiritual leaders.
We want to honor all that is holy.

We come before You Father God, filling our minds with Your Holy Word.
And pondering on Your Truths.
As we meditate on You, Father and spend intimate time with Jesus,
we attune our hearts and renew our minds to Your thoughts, O LORD.
And as we do this, faith is released to receive fresh moves of Your Holy Spirit.
Let our faith arise!
We receive Your promises by faith. 
Thank You Father for the gift of change.
We receive Your promises by faith. 
We receive Your Fire of Holy Spirit.
And this ignites and energizes Your gifts within us.
Clothe us with Your Power.
As we wrap ourselves in Your Glorious Garment of Praise,
thanking You throughout all circumstances,
we know that this releases the supernatural power of Your Holy Spirit
to work on our behalf.
Let Your Glory fall LORD.
Where Your people minister, move and serve You
and show others Your everlasting  love and boundless grace
Your Glory falls!
Where Your Glory falls,Your manifested Presence falls,
with supernatural signs, miracles, wonders, deliverance and healing.
Thank You for anointing  us with Fresh Oil and New Wine
to equip us to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, free those in bondage,
bringing  beauty from ashes,
as we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace
and teach, preach and proclaim
the Gospel of Christ Jesus, our LORD and Savior to the nations.
As we arise and go into battle, praying without ceasing,
in faith with no doubt,
we thank You that Jesus our Divine Warrior
 is going before us
preparing the way.
We know that prayer is the battle.
And Jesus is the way and truth.

Thank You Father God for Your Holy Spirit
that is restoring the covenant roots of Your Church. 
Thank You for calling us back to know Your fullness
and righteousness in Christ Jesus.
Thank You for Your Son Jesus, who is preparing His Bride,
as His Church is rising up in renewed, restored  power and glory.

Thank You for restoring us to our lost inheritance
as we live and move and have our being in you, in perpetual revival...
In Your Holy Manifest Presence.

Thank You for Your Amazing Grace and Love,
and Your miraculous power as You work in our midst,
pouring out Your gifts of healing, deliverance, redemption, restoration.
Thank You Father God for restoring us to our new covenant roots.

Thank You for restoring us to Your Holy Presence.
Thank You for carrying us.
Thank You for Jesus who gave His life for us,
and carries our burdens.
Thank You for covering us with the precious  BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
Thank You for reminding us to minister in Your Love.
Your Passion. Your Power.
Thank You for Who You are and who we are IN YOU.
Thank You for reminding us that we can do nothing without You.
And You are always with us and will never let us go.

We Praise you Father.
Thank You Jesus for washing Your Bride with Your Word to purify her!
Your Messianic Church has been restored!
Thank You for calling Your Church to become the “One New Man”
 where Jew and Gentile together feast on the riches of Your New Covenant.

Thank You for the fulfillment of our deepest longings, hunger and thirst!
As we celebrate the Feasts this Year, 2009,
we pray to invite others to join in Celebrating Jesus,
in the process of restoration of all things,
as we teach others to live for You in these joyful days of restoration.
And it is in the matchless NAME OF JESUS
that we ask, believe and receive these things.
There is no other name but Jesus.
ABBA Father,
We give You all power, all glory, all honor, all blessings and praise.
The angels cry Holy. Our hearts cry Holy.
You are Holy LORD JESUS.
Amen
