Acts 17:28

Life is not about arriving it is about the journey and most importantly our journey into the heart of God. Too many of us are flying through important seasons of our lives and missing the moments. God Almighty has ordained and orchestrated precious and dear moments for us to enjoy.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD,
thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

SEASONS

We all have various seasons and of course some we prefer more than others. “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 Do you find yourself rushing from one season looking ahead for the next? What about the season you are in right now. Is it just a blur or are you enjoying the journey?

MOMENTS

Moments. Webster’s dictionary says, “A moment is an indeterminately short but significant period of time”. One builds upon the other, and another and another. The moments become hours, the hours become days, days weeks, weeks months and before you know it, the years have passed by quickly without your even noticing it.

Today, I ask you to take a look at your life. Are you enjoying your journey? Selah. (Take a moment and think about it.) Have you spent quality time getting to know Jesus and are abiding with Him? Have you fallen so deeply in love with Jesus that He has become your everything? Do you know His Presence? Are you listening to His voice? Can you feel His heartbeat? Jesus is calling you to COME AWAY WITH HIM and ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY.

IS THE FRAGRANCE OF JESUS ON YOUR JOURNEY?

Sometimes I find myself rushing even when it comes to my journey with God. He graciously gives me a dream or a vision and enough time is not spent on what He is trying to say at that moment. I find myself pressing into MORE before I have soaked and taken in fully the now revelation, experience or teaching. Take time precious woman of God to enjoy your journey. Make sure you include times of refreshing everyday before you step out. The day will be more beautiful with the fragrance of Jesus on it.

FLOWING WITH JESUS

Sometimes Jesus places me in a season where He accelerates me quickly preparing me for what is ahead. But it is not always like that. At times He wants to take a quiet walk in the park, and enjoy together the cool breezes or a summer rain. He even desires a rest from the journey of learning and seeking and invites me to sit in His lap and simply BE. Be who He created me to be as we lavish our love upon each other. Perhaps the Holy Spirit has drawn a warm bath and invites me to soak in His Presence. It is in His presence that there is fullness of joy! There are times for warfare, standing and declaring however, sometimes He simply wants me to listen to the new sounds of change. These are times when He wants me to quiet myself and listen more intently for direction.

SMELL THE ROSES

Although some of us would like to, we were not made to run our lives in full throttle all of the time or we will miss the journey. There could be missed opportunities where we fly right past people that God has specifically placed in our path for such a time as this. The beautiful and fragrant roses of life that were created for our enjoyment could be trampled as we zoom past them. Perhaps we only notice the thorns that got stuck in our feet as we trample that which was intended for pleasure. Take time to “SMELL THE ROSES”.

RIDE THE WAVES OF HIS SPIRIT

In this wonderful journey, He has shown me that it is better to “RUN” WITH HIM. Very much like the Gulf Stream, Jesus has a Slip Stream. It is a place that flows supernaturally by the current of the Holy Spirit. Jesus simply wants us to enter in and ride the waves of His Spirit. He invites us to step into His Slipstream and go with His supernatural flow, which is easy and light.

When I first jumped into the RIVER OF GOD I went in ankle deep, then knee deep. At that time He was teaching me there was more to Him and this journey than I knew. The Power of the Holy Spirit has changed my faith grid and belief grid over and over as we have journeyed deeper. He has revealed MORE OF WHO HE IS AND WHO I AM IN HIM. When I first jumped into the deep, I found myself with many different emotions and experiences. The current seemed fast and furious at times and instead of relaxing and going with the flow, I grabbed aimlessly onto a passing branch. Then I began swimming sometimes getting in over my head. But that was what Holy Spirit wanted. He wanted me to just let loose. Let go! Travel in His Slipstream with ease, trusting Him to take me in His current at His speed. As He taught me, I began flowing with the current, relaxing and letting Him carry me in the River. Oh the places we have gone. This is the life He intended to share with me and one He intends to share with YOU!

ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY!

Your journey has many streams and facets. Decide today to Go with God. Enter into the SLIPSTREAM of His Presence. View every day as a new day to enjoy and explore. Go with His flow and decide today to ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY no matter where it takes you. Believe with great faith and no doubts that Jesus is with You and abides in You. His hand is resting upon You. When You surrender and begin to travel your life at His pace He will take you to places you may have never dreamed possible. He will give you balance. You will find the journey easy and delightful. Go ahead, ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY! The God of the universe that intends to enjoy it WITH YOU designed it especially FOR YOU!

STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN

Take some time and evaluate your journey. Think about the blessings and adventures you have enjoyed. Align yourself with Him today as you take another step into the Slip Stream of Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to “Live and move and have your being in Him” Acts 17:28

Be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
And begin enjoying your journey as never before!

“ That He would grant you,
according to the riches of His glory,
to be strengthened with might
through His Spirit in the inner man,
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints
what is the width and length and depth and height—
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;
that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above
all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations,
forever and ever. Amen.”
