Awake Deborah, Awake!

When someone comes to us with problems or asking us for help in resolving conflict, worry, doubt, fear and trials, we may want to give them our sage advise, wise counsel and sometimes merely our opinions. I have learned that this is not what others need. First of all they need us to pray and seek God before we get involved.  And we need to tell them to pray and seek God for the right person(s) for counsel.  We are not always that person, as good as our intentions may be.

 

After much prayer, and going to God’s Word, I knew I was not to be the one to give her advise and began praying for the person God would lead her to, or bring to her. Although I did want to send a brief  personal word of encouragement to my spiritual daughter, I knew that most of all she needed  scriptures straight from God’s Heart in His Word to sustain and comfort her with His Promises.  So I sent her this encouragement.

 

“Precious One. "Arise Deborah, Arise!"  I am praying for you.  Praise God through these circumstances! Start singing! Start praying songs! Pray Scriptures of praise! And through the sacrifice of praise, God will release His Holy Spirit to work on your behalf in this matter. Wrap yourself in God’s Glorious Garment of Praise! God has promised never to leave or forsake you.  He is overshadowing and protecting you. He will work all things out for good to those who love Him and call on His Name.”

 

And that is all I said.  Then I gave her these scriptures God laid on my heart, straight from God’s Word.  Perhaps you precious one are going through a difficult time now also.  I encourage you as you  read these scriptures, to open your mouth right now and decree these promises from God out loud, both as a prayer, a praise and a decree!

 

Psalm 57:7-9

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast,
 I will sing and give praise.
 Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! 
I will awaken the dawn.
 I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing to You among the nations.”

 

Psalm 63:3-5

“Because Your loving kindness is better than life,
 my lips shall praise You.
 Thus I will bless You while I live
 I will lift up my hands in Your name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.”

 

Psalm 5:11

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; 
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; 
Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.”

 

Micah 4:8

“Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
when I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
the LORD will be a light to me.”

 

2 Corinthians 12:9

“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

 

Psalm 69:14-18

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink;
Let me be delivered from those who hate me,

“Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God.
 I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you,
 I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Lamentations 3:22-24

“Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
 “ Therefore I hope in Him!”

 

Psalm 119:114

“You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word.”

 

Romans 8:37

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors
through Him who loved us.”

 

As you prayed these scriptures, lifting your voice up to God, He inhabited your praise!  There is such supernatural power in God’s Word.

ENCOURAGING WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE INTO MY LIFE

Understanding the Deborah anointing has been an amazing process for me on this journey into the heart of God.  Many of you have read my testimony about this amazing life changing, pivotal point in my life.  I had always related to Deborah as God had given me gifts and talents, in teaching, speaking, counseling, writing, and singing.  I was raised Southern Baptist.  But after receiving Baptism of the Holy Spirit five years ago in my daughters Church of God, my journey took on a new meaning, as God called me as “deep calls to deep” to learn about His supernatural power and Holy Spirit gifts.

 

It was not long after this that I met Ann Platz, writer, speaker, author an amazing powerfully anointed prophetic woman of God.  Ann said she had a personal impartation, an encouraging word of knowledge for me.  I understood neither “impartation” or “word of knowledge”.  Ann told me that God was raising me up with the Deborah anointing, as a mighty prophetic intercessor prayer warrior woman of God.

 

With a very gentle nature, not a very bold courageous woman I had never related to Deborah as a mighty warrior.  And I most certainly knew nothing about the prophetic gift!  Although our church had always believed in the five fold ministry, Apostle, Prophet, Pastor/Teacher, Evangelist, Missionary, we had been taught that the apostolic and prophetic gifts had ceased.

 

So I went back to God’s Word to again study Deborah’s life.  I saw that God used her first of all in a mighty way on behalf of His people because she was a woman that loved God with all her heart, soul and mind.  She was faithful and obedient to Him.  She helped to stir up people’s hearts and brought God’s people back to Him.  And Deborah was a very humble servant of God.  She did not seek to lead, nor did she seek any position.  She just humbled herself under the mighty hand of God, as God tells us to do in I Peter 5:6, aligned herself with the Word of God, submitted to others, clothed in humility, I Peter 5:5 and submitted to God and He exalted Deborah!

 

Deborah simply sought God!  In Matthew God tells us, “Seek Me first and My righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”  Because Deborah sought God, not a position, He raised her up a mighty prophetic warrior woman to help lead and change a nation. 

 

After Ann’s powerful impartation into my life, I began to seek God more! Wanting Him more than anything,  I prayed that God would give me more wisdom.  I praised God for Ann Platz, who like Deborah, is a powerful prophetic love warrior of God!  I praised God because Ann was a woman that sought after God with all her heart, soul, mind and spirit like Deborah.  And because of her humility and  seeking, Ann hears from God loud and clear!  . And His Holy Spirit speaks words of knowledge to her.   Ann was obedient to God and spoke forth such an encouraging word of knowledge from God’s Holy Spirit to me.  And I had an “awakening” by God’s Holy Spirit!”

 

I not only heard God say to me, “AWAKE DEBORAH, AWAKE” But I heard Him say, “ARISE DEBORAH, ARISE!  You are a strong, bold, courageous prophetess. Claim it in the mighty Name of Jesus!  Claim Victory!   Hear me and step into Your divine calling.  You have always related to Deborah on many levels.  NOW ARISE TO NEW LEVELS OF YOUR ANOINTING THAT I HAVE PLACED WITHIN YOU! THEY HAVE BEEN THERE ALL THIS TIME!  I AM THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW. STEP FORWARD IN YOUR DIVINE CALLING, YOUR DIVINE DESTINY. I WILL EQUIP AND EMPOWER YOU WITH MY HOLY SPIRIT. ARISE DEBORAH ARISE! ARISE FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME!”

 

Today precious women, God is calling you forth!  He is still asking the question, “Who can find a virtuous woman?”  God is looking for loving, humble, obedient women to awaken and arise, to learn to serve Him as remarkable intercessory prayer warriors.  God is looking for women everywhere, in all walks of life, who will arise to the challenge and call!  God loves you precious women!  God will help you through anything you are going through, no matter what you are facing! You can arise! God will give you great courage, confidence, strength and endurance through the mighty power of His Holy Spirit, to guide you in all your ways. 

 

I encourage you to spend time in Intimacy with Jesus.  Spend time in God’s Word and Meditate on it both day and night.  Keep His Word in your heart. Spend time in prayer.  God will give you greater strength, faith and wisdom.  Humbly Submit to God. Listen to His voice. 

 

God’s Word is Life.  God still speaks to us as He did to Deborah long ago.  God wants you to rest in Him.  And He will rest in You. You will become a habitation of God.  God wants us to awaken and arise. And stand together in unity, love and one accord against the enemy.   We are more than conquerors through Christ Who strengthens us!  God wants us to have great faith that through the sacrifice of Christ, through His atoning blood, and resurrection power of His Holy Spirit, we can pray will ALL power and All authority to stop the enemy.  We already have the VICTORY IN JESUS. 

 

Jesus is calling you to “Arise My Beloved!” Jesus is calling forth His Bride, His Church.   God wants us to know Who He is, and who we are IN HIM.  God wants us to step out in great faith, pray with great faith, that He will do what He promises to do! 

 

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine. For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen on you.”  Arise from the depression, strongholds, oppression and problems that have hindered you!  Rise to a New Life in Christ.  Shine forth!  Be radiant with the glory of the Lord.  The word “arise” means to stand firm.  Several years ago God gave me a dream/vision as He wrote on the black board of all time and space, “Stand. Stand. Stand.”  When we arise and allow God’s glory to arise within us, and shine through us, we take our stand against the powers and principalities that have resisted us. As we allow the Spirit of the Lord to arise within us, we find that He gives us the expectation of new life, and the strength to bring life to birth.

 

In 2008 God is birthing a new thing within us!  We are entering the Year of Jubilee!  Those things that we have been burdened down with, those hard and unyielding things, we have submitted to God and faithfully pressed through in 2007, SUDDENLY will come forth and we are released! Holy Spirit power is released!  You may enter a new year, with new joy and greater faith, as you align yourself with God’s Word.  Let us speak things that are not as though they were.  Let us give hope to all the weary and broken hearted.  Let us be shining examples of Jesus’ love.  Let us declare Victory in Jesus.  Let us AWAKEN TO THE NEW THING GOD IS DOING IN 2008.  LET US ARISE AND SHINE! LET US MARCH INTO VICTORY WITH NEW HOPE. TO FURTHER GOD’S KINGDOM. LET US PRAISE HIM AND GIVE HIM ALL POWER, HONOR AND GLORY.

 

“Father God, We offer our sacrifices of praise up to you.  We Awaken to Your Holy Spirit.  We Arise to the Great Commission you have called us to.   We pray that You will bring us to a new level of spiritual maturity and unity. We know that we can become a Spiritual House inhabited by a Holy Priesthood.  We offer ourselves, our gifts, and our lives to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We submit willingly and obediently to Your leading, guiding and directing us. You have spoken restoration of all things.  We know that restoration in all dimensions is at the heart of Your Gospel.  You have called us.  We awaken. Arise. Stand. And go forward in Your love, faith and grace. We have faith, more than a grain of mustard seed.  And we pray in great faith, as You have taught us to do, and we speak grace to the mountains.  Remove the mountains. We pray that you will use Aspire Ministries to bring glory and honor to Your mighty Name.  We pray that all will see the Love of Jesus with us and will be drawn to You Lord.  We pray for all the women reading this Father, that they will know that You will do exceedingly, abundantly all that they ask, imagine or dream! Help them to take back their dreams and rich inheritance that the enemy has tried to steal.  So You may be glorified. So that all men will be drawn to Christ.  We awaken. Arise. Stand. Watch. Wait.  And listen to Your voice and call for 2008.  We are strengthened in You.  We proclaim that this will be a year of great explosions. Great expectations.  Suddenlies of You.  New beginnings. Dreams and Visions. Thank You Father, for pouring out of Your Spirit in greater ways than ever before. You are Holy Lord. Merciful and mighty.” In the wonderful powerful Name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.”

Perhaps many of you have related to Deborah.  God is calling forth many of you women as Deborahs.  Or He may be speaking blessings and placing anointings on you calling you forth to “Arise” as an Esther, Sarah, Lydia, Dorcas, Priscilla, Phoebe, Rebekah, Jochebed, Miriam, Rahab, Ruth, Naomi, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, or Martha!

 

 God has placed many gifts within you and He wants you to Awaken you so you can Arise to His personal, unique calling  in your life. God wants to use you in a remarkable way.  He has special  plans and purposes for your life.  He is calling you forth at a time such as this to fulfill your calling. Now is the time for you to Step into your Divine Destiny and Live the fullness IN HIM, empowered by His Holy Spirit. 

 

Go to His Word and study more about the woman you most relate to. This will greatly encourage you in your walk.  Pray that God will speak to you.  Listen to His voice. In humility and obedience submit to His calling.  He will lift you up.  He will empower and equip you.  He will exalt you!  God loves you with an everlasting love.

At all times in each of our lives we need to continuously encourage ourselves and others in the Lord. The Word of God is LIFE and health to our bones.  Speaking forth God’s powerful Words activates and thrust them into being.  Praise is a precious and wonderful weapon that changes the atmosphere around us and within us because praise releases the awesome power of God’s Holy Spirit to work on our behalf.

 

Be encouraged today precious women as you speak forth the High Praises of God! Exchange the spirit of heaviness for a GARMENT OF PRAISE!  (Isaiah 61)  We encourage you to shout them out, activating praise that is within you.  Then continue praising with your own words from the depths of your heart.  Blessings my friend!  Joy comes in the morning!
