"Precious Jewel, God Has A 'Handle' On Things" ![]() Jeweled Purse Dream
“ I dreamed Janis and I were walking through a fruit orchard in the cool fresh morning air. There were hundreds of green fruit trees covered with fresh dew glistening in the early morning sun. These beautiful trees were spread out over great rolling green grassy hills for as far as the eye could see. There were majestic mountains in the far distance, shining forth, glistening like bright, sparkling glass, rising up to the crystal blue sky in a great panoramic view, spanning all around us.
On the trees, instead of fruit, were women’s handbags of all sizes and shapes. They were all adorned with precious and semi-precious jewels. Blue sapphires, green emeralds, purple amethyst, red rubies, pearls and diamonds, shone so brightly in the sunshine throughout this great valley that the entire scene was full of God’s glory.
We were strolling along rejoicing and praising God, laughing in the Sonshine of His Love, in complete amazement at the dazzling brilliance and beauty before us. All of a sudden, God reached down His mighty and huge Hand from Heaven. Very gently and lovingly He began to put handles of gold and silver on each of the handbags. " I awoke and smiled.
I heard God’s Holy Spirit say to me in my spirit, “I have a handle on ALL things. My Hand is overshadowing you.” Now isn’t that a wonderful promise from God? This was a personal promise to me that God has everything in control. He has a handle on everything and I need to relax, lean into Him, and be assured that everything will be all right. His reminder to me that my hope and future is IN HIM.
He was also showing me that He has His Hand on Aspire Ministries. As He promised multiplicity when we established Aspire, He was showing me the future. All the women He is touching, as in complete surrender and obedience to Him, we write messages to reach out to women all over the world. We have now been viewed by thousands of women in 48 States, in 43 foreign countries over six continents across the world.
God was also lovingly placing handles on these beautiful handbags, giving them permanence. He was showing His Love, directly transcending from His Heavenly realm. I believe He was showing us that these represent each of us, and our images of beauty and value to Him. He was reaching down to Earth in all HIS GLORY, bringing His supernatural spiritual KINGDOM GLORY DOWN. God is a King of unimaginable power and wealth. The precious stones represent how precious each and every one of us are to Him. This was a reminder of God’s Promise of Redemption! And the mountains in the distance were a dazzling display of His brilliance, HIS LIGHT, reflecting His Resplendent Glory.
When I went to God’s Word, as I always do, to search out more revelation of what He may be saying to me, I read Proverbs 3:13-26, where jewels show the value of wisdom and understanding, two of the seven-fold Spirit of God.
“Happy is the man who finds wisdom
and the man who gains understanding;
for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver
and her gain than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies,
and all the things you may desire cannot compare to her.
Length of days is her right hand.
In her left hand riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness. And all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
and happy are all who retain her.
The Lord by wisdom founded the earth.
By understanding He established the heavens;
By His knowledge the depths were broken up,
and clouds drop down the dew.
My son, let them not depart from your eyes.
Keep sound wisdom and discretion;
So they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck.
Then you will walk safely in your way.
And your foot will not stumble.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid.
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
For the Lord will be your confidence;
and will keep your foot from being caught. “
I was also reminded of the beautiful beloved woman, who also represents the Bride of Christ,in Song of Solomon 1:10-11. “I have compared you, my love, to my filly among Pharaoh’s chariots. Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with chains of gold. We will make you ornaments of gold with studs of silver.”
There are many accounts in the Bible of the precious jewels Kings and Queens wore, showing their wealth, power and authority.
To display the worth of God’s redeemed people, the High Priest wore a jeweled ephod. The names of the 12 tribes of Israel were inscribed on the jewels that adorned the High Priest as he poured out the blood of sacrifice. What a beautiful reminder of the reflection of God’s Glory that represented the holiness of Worship.
“You shall make the breastplate of judgment.
Artistically woven
according to the workmanship of the ephod you shall make it;
of gold, blue, purple and scarlet thread,
and fine woven linen, you shall make it.
It shall be doubled into a square;
a span shall be its length, and a span shall be it width.
And you shall put setting of stones in it, four rows of stones;
The first row shall be a sardius, a topaz and an emerald;
this shall be the first row.
The second row shall be a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond;
the third row , a jacinth, an agate and an amethyst;
and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx and a jasper
They shall be set in gold settings.
And the stones shall he the names of the sons of Israel,
twelve according to their names,
like the engraving of a signet,
each one with its own name;
they shall be according to the twelve tribes.
You shall make chains for the breastplate at the end,
like braided cord of pure gold.”
Exodus 28:15-20
This also reminded me of John’s vision of the New Jerusalem...
“Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls
filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me saying,
‘Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.’
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain,
and showed me the great city,
the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God,
having the glory of God,
Her light was like a most precious stone,
like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
Also she had a great and high wall with twelves gates,
and twelve angels at the gates,
and names written on them
which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel;
three gates on the east, three gates on the north,
three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations
and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The construction of its wall was of jasper;
and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
The foundation of the wall of the city
were adorned with all kinds of precious stones;
the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire,
the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite,
the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase,
the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
The twelve gates were twelve pearls;
each individual gate was of one pearl.
And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
But I saw no temple in it,
for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,
for the glory of God illuminated it.
The Lamb is its light.
And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light
and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
Its gates shall not be shut at all by day
(there shall be no night there).
And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nation into it.
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles,
or causes an abomination or a lie,
but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of life.”
Revelation 21: 9-14 and 18-27
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior sits on His dazzling holy throne in the jeweled eternal city. The precious jewels there reflect and magnify God’s beauty and Glory.
Jesus wants us to be “beautiful reflections of Him”. We are to worship God in all His magnificent glory. We are to thank Him and wrap ourselves in His glorious garment of praise. We are to reflect the love and grace of Jesus, the precious essence of WHO HE IS and who we are IN HIM, in all we do so that others will see Jesus in us, and all men will be drawn to HIM. We have His Kingdom glory within us. We have supernatural power and authority because we are His precious jewels, His gems. Oh the Glory of the Cross!
We praise You Father.
We thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We love You. Thank You for first loving us so much that You sent Your only begotten Son. That whosoever believeth on Him would be saved. Thank You for the gift of Salvation. Thank You for the gift of Redemption. Thank You Father for telling us we are Your Precious Jewels. Thank You for wisdom and understanding. Thank You for speaking to us, even in our dreams at night. Thank You for revelation and words of knowledge straight from Your Throne Room of Grace. Thank You for Your gifts and baskets of blessings. Thank You that You have called us Your Brides. Thank You for healing Your Church Body,Your Bride, so we may go forward in supernatural power and authority and heal the land in the Name of Jesus. We pray that each and everyone reading this message will step into their divine destiny and understand their true value and worth IN YOU. IN CHRIST ALONE WE PLACE OUR TRUST.
We come to You in complete surrender, laying down our lives to do whatever You call us to do. And we steadfastly STAND and go forward with great faith to do Your Will. We will not go one step without You. Thank You for guarding and guiding our steps. YOU ARE HOLY LORD. HOLY LORD. You are great and greatly to be praised. We give You all glory, all honor and praise. Amen Janis had a dream last year about a leather purse suspended in space and as she prayed and pressed in, God gave her the symbolic meaning of the dream. She was inspired to write, “What’s In Your Purse?” parent page for our home site www.aspireministries.com. and a longer message we have yet to release.
When God gives me a prophetic dream or vision the first thing I do is to pray, ask Him to reveal more and go to His Word. What is He saying to you precious ones?
I know that my dream with the jeweled purses with precious stones represented God’s people all over the world. And that each of their names are written on them. Also they were symbolic of the Fruit of the Spirit. And the fruits of our labor. The “fields are ripe” for the Great Harvest to come in these latter days.
The harvest is white as snow. Who will go with us to glean? Is Jesus calling you? We can go forward like Peter and say, “Silver and gold have I none. But what I have I will give to you, healing in the Name of Jesus.” We have the Kingdom power and authority to go throughout our communities, throughout our cities, throughout the land, around the world, to help heal others spiritually, emotionally and physically. I hear the women’s voices crying out all over the world.
Who will answer that call? God has equipped you with all that you need to fulfill the plans and purposes He has for you. And remember, HE IS THERE TO HANDLE ALL YOUR NEEDS.
Take back your rich inheritance in Christ! Stand on God’s Promises, which are many. And shout the good news of the Gospel to all the world. JESUS LOVES YOU. JESUS SAVES. JESUS HEALS. YOU ARE HIS PRECIOUS JEWEL. BELIEVE IT! WALK IN IT! Go forward with newfound courage and boldness to proclaim the Name of Jesus.
Blessings, Love and Joy!
