Aspire To Be All That God Created You To Be

Prayer And Praise

 Janis Smith

And He said to them," When you pray, say:  Our Father Which is in heaven Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.  Bring us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.  For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the Glory  for ever and ever, Amen."
Matthew 6:9-13

Isn't it absolutely and totally awesome that the God of this universe wants to talk to us and He wants us to talk to Him?  "Oh Lord, Our Lord, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth!!  Who have set Your glory on the heavens!  Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.  When I consider your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.  You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen-even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.  Oh Lord, Our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!  I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;  I will tell of all Your marvelous works.  I will be glad and rejoice in You!  I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High!", Psalm 8:1-9 and Psalm 9:1,2.

Precious woman of God, your Father in heaven has gifted you with His presence here on earth.  He has given you dominion over the earth and has mandated that you call forth the heavens to come to earth (Matthew 6:10).  It is our privilege and joy to talk to Him about everything!  He has such an all- encompassing loving heart for you.  He calls you to Himself.  Selah, think about that!  He calls us to "Make a joyful shout to the Lord all you lands!  Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.  Know that the Lord, He is God;  It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.  Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.  For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations!"  Psalm 100.  He wants us to come into His presence!

He is our Lord and Saviour, He is our cloud by day and our fire by night. He is Elohim, Our Creator. He is the Prince of Peace.  Exalt the Name of the Lord!  He is our Strength and Shield, He is our High Tower, He covers us with His wings overshadowing us with His presence.  He is our Shepherd, He is the Word and He is our Light.  He is the Bread of Life and The Rivers of Living Water!  He is our Lover and Our Friend!  Glory and Honor to our King!  He is our Bridegroom and His Names are inexhaustible!  He is The Great I AM!  Selah, think about that.  He is Everything you will ever want and ever need.

When you meet with Him in your "quiet place" Selah, think of that!!!  Praise His Name!  Come to Him in total honesty and purity.  Lay your life before Him and give yourself to Him every day!

What an awesome privilege to have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as your best friend in Whom you confide in and share everything.  He is the only One Who can make you pure and Holy.  He is the only One Who can meet your every need and He is the only One Who can change and mend situations of your life.  He loves you with an everlasting love! And you know what, precious woman of God?  He is waiting to hear your heart, and He is waiting to lavish His love upon You!  He is waiting to bring heaven to earth, and to you, my dear friend, He has given dominion and power to accomplish this wonderful experience!!!

Jesus continues to be our example and make intercession for us!  Can you wrap your spirit of faith around that thought?  Jesus is continually making intercession for you at the throne of God!!!  At times, He calls us to intercede for others, standing in the gap and praying for a sister in Christ,  who needs heaven brought down to earth.  Isn't that awesome?

And guess what else?  He tells us that He is the One with All POWER and ALL GLORY to accomplish ALL THINGS.  We have access to the very heart of God!    As we become more like Him, our thoughts will become His thoughts and we will pray His will right down to earth, calling it into existence!  Our mouths have the ability  to call forth the Power of God and hurl it into space and time and make what is NOT...to be a reality.

It is our desire to pray for you, my dear friend, and to guide you into all truth.  We desire to impart into you the truths of God's living and breathing Word so that you will have a powerful intimate relationship with Him.  Your prayer life will become more alive and a powerful weapon for the Kingdom of God!  He wants you to run to Him as the deer pants for the water brook.  You will have a greater desire to talk to Him and accomplish His great plans through your abiding life in Him! You are a blessed and highly favored woman of God.  He calls you now into His presence.  "For in Him we live and move and have our being" Acts 17:28.  What a wonderful journey we are going to have together, dear friend!

Dear Father, thank You for this wonderful communication of prayer that You have opened up to us.  You know our thoughts and dreams, and still You want to hear, from our lips, our every thought.  Thank You for listening and speaking to us through this avenue of prayer.  Teach us to pray and intercede, dear Lord,  standing in the gap for others.  Use our prayer language in mighty ways to break through barriers when we don't  know what to pray.  Thank you for using our prayer language in a mighty way to lift us higher and to know Your ways.  Teach us, Oh Lord, to press in as we seek You in the Secret Place.  We want to abide in You, The Most High God.

 In Jesus' Name, Amen

Enjoy the Journey,
